"Hello, for starters  I'm John (Jay for short)  I was diagnosed on 8/7/2023 with desmoplastic small round cell (sarcoma) right out of high school where I previously graduated with honors from La Porte High School, there I studied arts and drama.

 I'm also in my freshmen year of college at San Jac I was fortunate to receive a 2 year promise scholarship, I'm also currently an attendee at John Casablanca, for acting and soon after continuing my education towards Graphic Design. I wish to become a digital creator of anime comics in the near future. Initially we believed it was a hernia in my abdomen due to weight lifting...but to imagine it being cancer...It threw a monkey wrench in all of my plans and life goals going from working at the Cinema and seeing all of the newest movies firsthand, hanging out with my school buddies and enjoying in person studies to a revolving stay at MD Anderson, but, I've (we've) come so far my family and I in this unmatched journey.  I will continue to call it all joy!!!
