Hello to everyone this reaches,

I’ve never been too personal on social media, but at this time I urgently need the support of my community, so I’m going to share my situation: 

On August 11, 2023  I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). I have just finished a month-long inpatient hospital stay during which I received aggressive chemotherapy as well as care for the taxing complications that come with this treatment. Due to the aggressive nature of this type of cancer, I will be back in the hospital for a bone marrow transplant, which will be another extended stay. I will be unable to work throughout this treatment, and until I am recovered from the transplant  This will take a minimum of six months to a full year. To continue to live, I need help with medical bills, rent, student loan payments, utility bills, food costs etc. 

The shock of this diagnosis and fighting cancer is indescribable. I’ve always thought of myself as a strong person, but this has pushed my limits beyond what a person can handle mentally and physically. I have incredible support from the people in my life, but they cannot support me financially during this long recovery. I am urgently asking my community for help. Please consider donating to support my recovery. Anything you can spare will be beyond appreciated. Sharing this post widely with friends and family would also be a huge help. Once recovered, I will kiss and thank each of you individually.
