Jessica was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in April and has had to fight for her life. After 5 months of chemotherapy and other expensive treatments, Jessica is now ready for a Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation (HCT) transplant. This transplant is her best chance at keeping the cancer from returning and living a long life!

Our financial needs are one of our greatest stresses right now. When we first began this journey, we had no insurance and acquired about $800,000 in medical debt. Thanks to God's provision, several financial assistance programs helped erase the majority of that. We are down to about $20,000 in medical bills now. We were able to acquire insurance, without it, I couldn't get the treatments I need. But that means we also have the added expense of our insurance premium, which is about $500/month. We were approved for a grant that pays for half that from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! God's faithfulness has really been incredible. He has met us each step of the way and provided in the most unexpected ways!

In addition to the medical expenses, we have extra childcare and living expenses that we are struggling to meet. With Colin having to miss work to help with our additional needs, such as appointments and childcare, his income has been lower and these expenses are harder on us.
