Dear friends and family,
Thank you for visiting my One-to-One Fund.
PLEASE: We'd greatly appreciate all donations and sharing Eduardo's story but please use caution when sharing on social medias since Eduardo's parents in Cuba mustn't know of his condition and can be negatively affected by this.
On August 2017, Eduardo had to receive an emergency surgery removing his colon cancer tumor which was unknown at the time. After his surgery he went through his first round of chemotherapy. A few months after finishing, our family received the unfortunate news for metastasis in his lung and liver and made the decision to move forward with a second round of chemotherapy in hopes of ridding Eduardo of any possibility of the cancer returning stronger. Eduardo had the lung metastasis removed before beginning chemo once more.
Eduardo can no longer work due to the intensity of the chemotherapy and luckily receives emotional support and help from his wife and daughter. Our family is thankful for the amazing team at Miami's Sylvester Cancer Center and we remain hopeful and encouraged throughout this difficult process in hopes of a healthy, cancer-free life for Eduardo. Although we try to manage finances as best we can, they consistently add up with each treatment and upcoming liver surgery and it is difficult to keep up with the payments. We keep our positivity and are grateful for any help.
